Materials:
- Yarn: any sport or DK light weight yarn (I used YarnArt Jeans). Colors for a duck: yellow and orange, for a hat: pink and blue
- Crochet hook: size 2.0-2.5 mm
- Safety eyes 6 mm
- Black embroidery thread
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Stitch marker
- Fiberfill
Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 single crochet in 1 stitch)
dec – decrease
sl st – slip stitch
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times
AMIGURUMI DUCK FREE PATTERN

Head and body (one piece)
Head
With yellow yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (1 sc, inc, 1 sc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [30]
R 6: (2 sc, inc, 2 sc) repeat 6 times [36]
R 7-10: 36 sc (4 rows)
R 11: 11 sc, 4 inc, 6 sc, 4 inc, 11 sc [44]
R 12-15: 44 sc (4 rows)
Insert safety eyes between R 10 and R 11, 4 stitches apart.
R 16: 11 sc, 4 dec, 6 sc, 4 dec, 11 sc [36]
R 17: (2 sc, dec, 2 sc) repeat 6 times [30]
R 18: (3 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [24]
R 19: (1 sc, dec, 1 sc) repeat 6 times [18]
Stuff the head firmly, do not cut the yarn.

R 1: (1 sc, inc, 1 sc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 2: (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [30]
R 3: (2 sc, inc, 2 sc) repeat 6 times [36]
R 4-6: 36 sc (3 rows)
R 7: (5 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [42]
R 8-10: 42 sc (3 rows)
R 11: (5 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [36]
R 12: (2 sc, dec, 2 sc) repeat 6 times [30]
R 13: (3 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [24]

Stuff the body firmly, cut the yarn, close the remaining gap and weave in the end.
Beak
With orange yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: 3 sl st, 3 inc [9]
Fasten off, cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the beak between R 11 and R 12 of the head, between two eyes.
Wings (make 2)
With yellow yarn:
R 1: 5 sc in magic ring [5]
R 2: (inc) repeat 5 times [10]
R 3: (4 sc, inc) repeat 2 times [12]
R 4-5: 12 sc (2 rows)
R 6: (4 sc, dec) repeat 2 times [10]
R 7: (dec) repeat 5 times [5]
Fasten off, cut the yarn, close the remaining gap and leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the wings on both sides of the body, between R 2 and R 3 of the body.
Legs (make 2)
With orange yarn:
R 1: 5 sc in magic ring [5]
R 2: (inc) repeat 5 times [10]
R 3: 10 sc
R 4: (3 sc, dec) repeat 2 times [8]
Fold in half, crochet 4 sc through 2 edges.
Fasten off, cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the legs on both sides, at the bottom of the body.
Tail
With yellow yarn:
R 1: 5 sc in magic ring [5]
R 2: (inc) repeat 5 times [10]
R 3: 10 sc
Fasten off, cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the tail at the bottom back of the body.
Tip: flatten the tail horizontally when sewing.


Hat
Start with pink yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (1 sc, inc, 1 sc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [30]
R 6: (2 sc, inc, 2 sc) repeat 6 times [36]
Change to blue yarn:
R 7: 36 sc
Change to pink yarn:
R 8-9: 36 sc (2 rows)
Change to blue yarn:
R 10: (5 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [42]
Change to pink yarn:
R 11-14: 42 sc (4 rows)
Fasten off, cut the yarn and weave in the end.
