Here’s a new amigurumi pattern for you to enjoy

Get ready to add a burst of tropical charm to your amigurumi collection with this vibrant Crochet Parrot Amigurumi Free Pattern, beautifully designed by Lyudmila Babenko. This playful parrot is the perfect project for anyone who loves working with bold colors and bringing whimsical creatures to life. For this design, I used sport weight yarn in shades of red, blue, yellow, and grey, specifically YarnArt Jeans in color numbers 26, 16, 58, and 80. A 2 mm crochet hook paired perfectly with this yarn, resulting in a compact and well-shaped parrot. The finished toy measures approximately 11 cm, making it a delightful size for both play and display.

To complete the details, I added 6 mm black plastic safety eyes to give the parrot an alert, expressive look, and used pink embroidery thread for gentle facial accents that bring out its character. Whether you’re crafting it as a thoughtful handmade gift, a colorful home decor piece, or a unique addition to your amigurumi shelf, this project offers both joy and creative freedom. Special thanks to Lyudmila for sharing this charming pattern with the community.
