Used materials

• Yarn (I use friends cotton 8/4)
• Pieces of yarn (white, black, brown) to embroider eyes and nose.
• Crochet hook size: 2,5 mm.
• Soft stuffing.
• Needle for sewing.
• Scissors.

Do not fill.
Fold both edges and join 6 sc, then fold in half and sew together.

Fold the edges of the arm and close with 5 sc.

Leg 2:

Repeat round 1-8 but not cut the yarn.
Position the legs relative to each other as you like.
Make 3 chain stitches and join both legs.

Lion’s mane

30 chain stitches + 1 chain, turn next 3 hdc in each chain stitch (90)
Sew the mane evenly to the head behind the ears.

Tail

Make 5 chain stitches, turn over 4 sc, 1 sl st (5)
Using a needle, thread a few threads in the color of the mane at the end of the tail.
Tie to keep them from falling out.
Trim. Unravel to form a brush.
You can dress your lion according to your own idea.

Assembling

Sew the head to the body.
Sew the ears to the head (between round 8-9).
Embroider the nose on the snout.
Sew the snout to the head (between rounds 11-20).
Evenly on both sides of the snout embroider the eyes.
Sew the arms evenly on both sides of the body.

Complete! You have successfully completed the crochet lion pattern, congratulations!
